From Chaos to Calm: You Really Can Have a Better Fertility Journey!

Updated: Jan 24

The emotions that just won’t quit. The lonely clinic waiting rooms. Needles, needles, and more needles.

Just like you, I know exactly what it feels like to struggle with fertility issues. My own journey was lonely, filled with highs and lows, and for a long time, it seemed like I would never move beyond it. (But I did, and one day you will too!) So today, I’m here not just as a coach, but as someone who has walked your same path, and is ready to guide and support you with understanding and compassion.

Professional Life + Personal Life = Fertility Coaching!

What happens when your professional life and personal life collide? Well, in my case, the answer is “You become a fertility coach!” You see, before I had any children, I worked as a health coach, personal trainer, and fitness instructor. But when I found myself facing fertility challenges, I knew I wanted to change direction.

Today, I’ve taken what I learned on my journey, and combined them with the skills I learned as a health coach in order to help and support other women who are struggling with fertility issues.

Different Yet the Same

As I’ve worked with clients, I’ve come to realize that, while all of our stories are different, they also contain many similarities. For example, most of the women I’ve worked with feel they’re on a rollercoaster ride of emotions and uncertainties. They feel frustration, sadness, anxiety, and anger as they grapple with the challenges of conception. And these struggles to conceive are often amped up by other factors, like dealing with unexplained infertility, past attempts that didn't quite work out, or figuring out if it’s time to dive into assisted reproductive techniques like IUI or IVF. Navigating through all of it leaves them feeling totally overwhelmed and in need of extra support and guidance.

Enter the Fertility Support Plan—I'm here to help you tackle these challenges head-on, offering you personalized coaching that empowers you to regain some control, find calm in the chaos, and boost your overall well-being on your unique path to conception.

My Lightbulb Moment

I spent years as a personal trainer and health coach. But just like all of you, when it came time to start my own family I was blindsided by fertility issues. Six years of ups and downs later, I finally got pregnant with my first child when I started focusing on my mind-body connection through guided meditation, hypnosis, and acupuncture. (You can read more about my fertility journey here.)

I didn’t have my “lightbulb” moment, though, until I got pregnant with my second child. You see, when it was time for baby #2, I got pregnant immediately. And then just as immediately, I miscarried. Months went by and nothing happened. Then one day, 14 months after my miscarriage, it occurred to me that I wasn’t using any of the visualizations or meditations that I had learned while I was working on baby #1. I started using them that night, and I got pregnant my very next cycle. That was when I knew I had learned something worth sharing!

And in case you think I simply got lucky, when it was time for baby #3, I revisited all these same techniques ahead of time and got pregnant my first cycle.

What’s In the Fertility Support Plan?

Practical Techniques for Anytime, Anywhere:

Stressful situations tend to lurk around every corner, so I teach practical relaxation and breathing hacks that you can use while grabbing coffee or sitting in the fertility clinic waiting room.

Guided Meditations for Empowerment:

Through guided meditations, I not only provide immediate support but also ensure that you can use these techniques independently.

Tailored Just For You:

Every journey is unique, right? So, we'll have a chat about your story—where you've been, where you are, and what support you need.

What You Get Out of It:

First off, the goal is to give you that instant sense of calm. Fertility issues make for a crazy ride, and getting some immediate relief is important.

In the long run, we're talking about improving your fertility naturally. Stress really does a number on fertility, so the goal is to keep it in check and find healthy ways of dealing with it. Cultivating a healthy mindset, and restoring your confidence in yourself and your body are key components of the program as well. All of this together makes pregnancy more likely, whether you're trying naturally or gearing up for IUI or IVF.

But You Don’t Have to Take My Word For It

Here's a shoutout from a past client who recently gave birth: “I can't say enough positive things about Becky. My fertility journey has felt very isolating, unique, and sensitive... She is kind, humorous, generous with her time, and informative. Can't recommend her enough!”

My Fertility Philosophy

I'm all about giving the mind-body connection the credit it deserves in the fertility game. People might say "just relax" is the worst advice, but honestly, I respectfully disagree. Stress messes with your body in a big way—less baby-making hormones, blood shuffling away from your reproductive system, and your body basically yelling, "Hold up, not a good time for a baby!"

On a more subtle level, your body is listening to everything you think and say. Negative self-talk, lack of confidence, and fear? Yeah, they can turn into self-fulfilling prophecies.
